Smaller Bulk Amounts
Our smaller bulk amounts fit in a regular freezer and don't take up tons of space. If you lose power and your freezer thaws, your waste is greatly reduced (as compared to a whole cow in the freezer).
Quarterly Releases
We release a new beef box every 3 months. Since you replenish your beef every 3 or 6 months, you're eating fresher beef year-round as opposed to the same stuff you've been eating for a year.
Farm-direct prices
Because the boxes are pre-ordered, we know what we need to process and have less waste or overstock overall. This means we can give you the lowest possible price we can offer.
How our bulk boxes work
Pre-order your box
Our boxes are done on a buy now, receive later model. Order your box before the cut-off to pick it up on the specified date at the location you choose. When you pre-order your beef like this, it helps smaller farms operate with peace of mind. We can more accurately guage our sales and only process what we need to, reducing waste and extra costs on our end.
Choose your preferences
You don't select every cut that goes in the box (otherwise we'd have piles of stuff people overlooked!). Instead, you choose a few preferences for your box and we hand select the cuts, ensuring all of that meat that's processed is divided into the boxes in an even way.
Your Choices
- Liver lover? - Choose if you want to receive liver in your box. This way we give it to those who want it.
- Soup Bones - Do you want cross-cut shank included in your box? Used in making soups or 'Osso Buco'.
Frequently asked questions
How often are the boxes put out?
We produce a new run of boxes every 3 months (December, March, June and September). The exact pickup dates change but are present when you checkout.
What if I can no longer make it on the pickup date?
That's ok! Just let us know ahead of time and we can hold on to it for you until another day.
Do I have to buy more every 3 months?
You are not obligated to buy any more ever again - but we bet you will! If you're not out of beef by the time the next box is released you can just wait until the next round to order more.
