Each box contains approximately 20 pounds of individually vacuum sealed frozen meat cuts of many types. The beef is from our own herd of Angus-cross cows right here in Ashe County. 

Half of the box is 1 pound packs of ground beef and the other half is filled with a hand-selected assortment of other cuts like steaks, roasts, ribs, etc.

In total you will receive the retail value of around $320 worth of grass-fed beef, for nearly half that price. It is by far the best savings you will find through us (and possibly beyond).

How our bulk boxes work

Pre-order your box

Our boxes are done on a buy now, receive later model. Order your box before the cut-off to pick it up on the specified date at the location you choose. When you pre-order your beef like this, it helps smaller farms operate with peace of mind. We can more accurately guage our sales and only process what we need to, reducing waste and extra costs on our end.

Choose your preferences

You don't select every cut that goes in the box (otherwise we'd have piles of stuff people overlooked!). Instead, you choose a few preferences for your box and we hand select the cuts, ensuring all of that meat that's processed is divided into the boxes in an even way.

Your Choices

  1. Liver lover? - Choose if you want to receive liver in your box. This way we give it to those who want it.
  2. Soup Bones - Do you want cross-cut shank included in your box? Used in making soups or 'Osso Buco'.
